Arknights: Endfield is on Steam. The release landed alongside the [Sanctuary of Ink] version in mid-October 2026, and it is the same game you already play elsewhere, on the same servers, with the same account and progress. If you have been waiting on the Steam build, or you are trying to work out whether your PC can run it at all, this page pulls the facts together.
The official launch notice (Oct. 14, 2026) carries the store link, server support, PC requirements and a long FAQ on account linking and payments. Below is that material in one place, plus the numbers from Steam's own store listing, plus links to the two Steam articles we ran before launch. For the version that shipped with it, see our [Sanctuary of Ink] version guide; for the day-one logistics, the pre-download and maintenance guide.

PC system requirements
Straight from the official launch notice. Both tiers assume 64-bit Windows and DirectX 11.1 or later.
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Intel Core i5-9400F or equivalent | Intel Core i7-10700K or equivalent or higher |
| Memory | 16GB of RAM | 16GB or more of RAM |
| GPU | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or equivalent | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent or higher |
| OS | Windows 10 64-bit or Windows 11 64-bit | Windows 10 64-bit or Windows 11 64-bit |
| DirectX | DirectX 11.1 or later | DirectX 11.1 or later |
| Storage | 50GB free space, plus 40GB for file extraction | 50GB free space, plus 40GB for file extraction; installing the game on an SSD is recommended |
The storage line is the one that trips people up. You need 50GB free and another 40GB spare while the files are being extracted, so a tight drive wants roughly 90GB before you start. The notice also recommends an SSD.
Cross-save: Steam, PC launcher, PS5 and mobile share progress
The Steam version runs on the same game servers and account data as the other platforms. Link your existing Gryphline account and the notice says you can carry that account's progress over on the corresponding server. Purchases travel the same way: items bought on one platform can be viewed and used on the others as long as you log in with the same Gryphline account.
The part that catches people out is the server split. Data cannot be shared between the Asia Server and the Americas / Europe Server. On your first Steam login, pick the server where your existing character lives. Choose the other one and you start from nothing, because that is a separate account, not a copy.
How to link your Steam and Gryphline accounts
The first launch on Steam asks you to link the two. The client gives you two routes:
- Method 1, you already have a Gryphline account: choose [Log Into Existing Account & Link] and follow the on-screen steps. This is the route that keeps your progress.
- Method 2, you do not have one: choose [Register & Link] to create a Gryphline account and tie it to Steam.
Coming from a third-party login (Facebook, Google, Apple or PSN)? You can still bring that account across. What decides the route is whether your Gryphline account has an email attached:
| Your situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| Gryphline account from a third-party login (Facebook, Google, Apple or PSN) with an email attached | In the Steam version pick [Log In and Link an Existing Account], then log in with that email address. |
| Same, but no email attached | Log into the GRYPHLINE Account Center with your original third-party login, link an email that has never been used to register a GRYPHLINE account, then use that email in the Steam version. |
| You changed your mind | Unlinking is supported. Do it from the GRYPHLINE User Center. |
A Gryphline account created inside the Steam version is not tied to Steam. You can log into the other supported platforms with the same email address and pick up that account's data, as long as you choose the right server.
Steam build vs the GRYPHLINK launcher
The two do not manage each other. The Steam version can only be downloaded and updated through the Steam client, and the GRYPHLINK launcher cannot install or patch it. When a version update arrives, go to your Steam Library and pull the new build there; our pre-download guide explains how those update windows are announced. If you also play the launcher build on the same PC, expect two separate installs and two sets of disk space.
Buying things on Steam
- In-game purchases work. The Steam version offers the same purchasable items as the other PC clients, paid with Steam's own payment methods.
- Pioneer Test purchases were kept. The Steam playtest ran on the live servers with no data wipe, so anything bought then is still on the account. Background in our Pioneer Test guide.
- Purchases are cross-platform. Buy on Steam and use on mobile or PS5 with the same Gryphline account, or the other way around. A Gryphline account created on Steam can also top up on other platforms.
If the purchase window does not appear, the notice's first suspect is the Steam Overlay. The order it gives you:
- Steam client → [Settings] → [In Game], make sure [Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game] is on.
- Steam Library → right-click Arknights: Endfield → [Properties] → [General], same overlay option for this game.
- Restart the Steam client, relaunch the game, retry the purchase.
Still stuck? Contact customer support with your UID, server, Steam client version and screenshots, so they can actually trace it.
Something is broken: where to get help
- In-game: [Settings] → [Platform & Account] → [Contact Customer Support].
- Email: endfield_cs@gryphline.com
- Send them: your UID, server, device specs, a description of what happened, and screenshots or screen recordings where you have them.
That channel covers account linking, logins, payments and client problems. For the wider onboarding, our how to play page and the guides index are better starting points; every official announcement lives in the news hub.
