Who she is in the story

Yvonne's in-game records describe an engineer-scientist rather than a frontline soldier. Her Human Resources summary records that she was recommended by Crowe of UWST to Andre, and joined Endfield Industries' Specialist Tech Division through the "Specialized Talent Recruitment" channel. She now leads several research projects on the Æther, the Blight, and the Trans-Æther Tranquilizer-Automata associated with the previous two. Background checks often describe her as having a streak of "rebellion" — a reputation her HR file defends at length, noting her brightly colored outfits, carefree graffiti, and "complex yet extremely practical chassis designs" as consistent modes of self-expression.

Her work diary (FILE 4) is a first-person account of monitoring an Æther rift where every sensor flatlined — she tried smart sign-language interpreters, custom pulse-format greetings, even "the first note from the Movement: Genesis of the Universe," before musing about unleashing her creation Frost-e-Bytee ("I'll unleash Frost-e-Bytee and ram some icy cold down its throat!") — a nice flavor link to her Cryo kit. Elsewhere (FILE 3) she appears as a storyteller reading The Little Engineer to children in Valley IV, carrying a hardware-built toy that "resembled Tata." She has also shown up outside the game: the official Arknights: Endfield × M.RAGE apparel collaboration (announced Apr. 24, 2026) featured designs inspired by Perlica, Laevatain and Yvonne. Patch history gives small kit hints too — the version 1.1 update notes (Mar. 12, 2026) mention an adjustment to the skill description text of Yvonne's ultimate (no effect change) and a fix where she could not perform a finisher under specific circumstances.

How her attributes shape her build

As a Cryo Striker, Yvonne's build-relevant question is how to feed her two growth attributes:

• Combo Skill Cooldown Reduction — her main attribute (attribute #41 in the game data). It shortens downtime between Combo Skill uses, which matters most in fights long enough for multiple rotations.
• Corrosion Boost — her sub attribute (attribute #40 in the game data). Corrosion rewards sustained pressure, so it scales in longer fights alongside her cooldown reduction.

For equipment, the equipment database currently lists 243 pieces across all slots — browse it by slot and rarity and look for pieces whose attribute modifiers roll Combo Skill Cooldown Reduction, Corrosion Boost, or Cryo-flavored offensive stats such as Cryo DMG Bonus and Solidification Boost (both present in the game's attribute table) to match her growth. One honesty note: exact skill coefficients are not in the database yet — her character page marks skill details as "pending datamine" — so treat attribute matching, not speculated numbers, as the decision factor for now.

For team-building, she is one of seven Cryo operators in the database: Yvonne herself, Last Rite (6★ Striker) and Tangtang (6★ Caster) at the top end, plus Xaihi (5★ Supporter), Snowshine (5★ Defender), Alesh (5★ Vanguard) and Estella (4★ Guard). Cryo teams are small but functional, and Yvonne is one of only two Cryo Strikers alongside Last Rite. Yvonne's weapon type is Pistol — the class the official announcements call "Handcannon." The EndfieldDex weapon database currently lists 72 weapons, including twelve Pistols, six of them 6★:

Of these, Artzy Tyrannical has the strongest claim to being her companion weapon right now: it is the rate-up 6★ of the [Tag Artist Issue] RE-Factor Issue #1, which opens on the same day as her banner — September 24, 2026 — and its announced pool also includes Wedge, the other headline 6★ Pistol of the current rotation. If you plan to pull Yvonne, that issue banner is the only currently announced source of a rate-up 6★ in her weapon class, so the two banners pair naturally. For players without a 6★ Pistol, the database lists three 5★ options — OBJ Velocitous, Opus: The Living and Rational Farewell — plus the 4★ Howling Guard and Long Road as fallbacks. Banner history & the September 24 RE-Factor return

Yvonne was part of the launch-era Chartered rotation: she appeared off-rate in the pools of [Scars of the Forge] (Laevatain, launch – Feb. 7, 2026) and [The Floaty Messenger] (Gilberta, Feb. 7–24, 2026), then became the rate-up of the release-celebration [Hues of Passion] banner on Feb. 24, 2026, which ran until the next version update and maintenance. That banner was supported by the [Spectral Splendor] limited-time sign-in event (up to [Spectral Splendor HH Permit]×5), a discounted permit exchange in the AIC Quota Exchange, and a Combat Drills trial where you could test her with a preset team. Its 6★ pool was Yvonne / Gilberta / Laevatain / Ember / Lifeng / Ardelia / Last Rite / Pogranichnik.

After her own banner, Yvonne stayed in the Chartered 6★ pool for exactly two more banners — [River's Daughter] (Tangtang, from Mar. 11, 2026) and [Wolf Pearl] (Rossi, from Mar. 28, 2026) both still listed her. Per the official rotation rule quoted in every Chartered announcement: "The Rate-UP 6★ operator featured in a [Chartered Headhunting] banner will be, after 3 [Chartered Headhunting] banners, removed from the list of operators that may appear in [Chartered Headhunting]," and is not added to Basic Headhunting. Consistent with that rule, from the [At the Wake of Spring] version's [Thunder of Renewal] banner (Apr. 17, 2026) onward, no announced Chartered pool — including the current [Winter Hunt] (Typhoeus, through Sept. 30) — has listed Yvonne.

Her announced return is the new banner type. Per the official [Dreamscape of Wind and Snow] Version Update Notes (Sept. 2, 2026):

• [Resplendent Spectrum] RE-Factor Headhunting #1 opens Sept. 24, 2026 at 12:00 (server time) and runs until the next version update and maintenance.
• It features rate-up 6★ operator Yvonne; the 6★ pool is Yvonne / Ember / Lifeng / Ardelia / Last Rite / Pogranichnik.
• RE-Factor uses Chartered HH Permits or Oroberyls. A 5★ or better is guaranteed within 10 attempts and a 6★ within 80 attempts; the 6★ guarantee is shared across all RE-Factor banners, with attempts carrying over and resetting when you acquire a 6★.
• Across same-name RE-Factor banners (e.g. Resplendent Spectrum #1, #2, …): 30/60/90 attempts each grant 10 bonus Urgent Recruitment attempts (once total), the rate-up 6★ is guaranteed within the first 120 attempts (once total, with carry-over), and every 240 attempts grants a Token of the rate-up operator (with carry-over).
