Arknights: Endfield [Dreamscape of Wind and Snow] — RE-Factor Headhunting & Version Preview
The Arknights: Endfield team published the official [Dreamscape of Wind and Snow] Version DEV Comm on August 22, 2026, previewing the next version's headline addition: a brand-new RE-Factor Headhunting banner type debuting with the 6★ operator Yvonne as its first rate-up, opening September 24, 2026. The DEV Comm also confirms a wave of factory, quality-of-life, combat and visual improvements coming with the version. This guide collects everything announced — including the exact pity, guarantee and bonus-pull numbers straight from the official announcement — so you can plan your Oroberyls in advance.
A new version is on the way
[Dreamscape of Wind and Snow] is positioned as an optimization-heavy update rather than a story chapter release. According to the DEV Comm, the version focuses on AIC Factory gameplay improvements, interaction and quality-of-life optimizations, combat and progression experience changes, and graphics updates — plus the debut of the RE-Factor banner series.
Two RE-Factor banners are confirmed to open on September 24, 2026:
- [Resplendent Spectrum] RE-Factor Headhunting #1 — 6★ operator Yvonne rate-up.
- [Tag Artist Issue] RE-Factor Issue #1 — 6★ weapon Artzy Tyrannical (Handcannon) rate-up.
Keep an eye on our banner schedule — we update it as soon as official dates are locked in, and the DEV Comm notes that detailed rules will be visible in-game on the Headhunting screen once the banners begin.
[Resplendent Spectrum] RE-Factor Headhunting #1 — Yvonne rate-up
RE-Factor Headhunting is a new recurring banner type that uses the same currency as Chartered Headhunting: the Chartered HH Permit or Oroberyls. The first banner, [Resplendent Spectrum] RE-Factor Headhunting #1, features a much higher chance of obtaining the 6★ operator Yvonne. According to our character database, Yvonne is a 6★ Cryo Striker from Endfield Industries, with Combo Skill Cooldown Reduction as her main attribute.
The 6★ operators that may appear in this banner are: Yvonne / Ember / Lifeng / Ardelia / Last Rite / Pogranichnik. From our database: Ember is a 6★ Heat Defender, Lifeng a 6★ Physical Guard, Ardelia a 6★ Nature Supporter, Last Rite a 6★ Cryo Striker, and Pogranichnik a 6★ Physical Vanguard.
The official guarantee rules for RE-Factor Headhunting:
- A 5★ or better operator is guaranteed within 10 attempts; a 6★ operator is guaranteed within 80 attempts. This guarantee system is shared across all RE-Factor Headhunting banners — attempts carry over between them and reset once you acquire a 6★ operator.
- Across all RE-Factor banners of the same name (e.g. [Resplendent Spectrum] RE-Factor Headhunting #1, #2, …): after 30/60/90 attempts you respectively receive 10 bonus Urgent Recruitment attempts (i.e. one free 10× headhunt). This bonus can trigger only once across all same-name banners; unused attempts carry over to future same-name banners.
- The rate-up 6★ operator is guaranteed within the first 120 attempts — triggers once across all same-name banners, and progress carries over.
- For every 240 attempts you receive a bonus Token of the Rate-UP 6★ operator ×1; progress carries over to future same-name banners.
- As with current Chartered Headhunting rules, pulls also grant bonus Arsenal Tickets, AIC Quota, Bond Quota and Endpoint Quota.
- Important: the free 10× attempts from Urgent Recruitment do not count toward guarantees on this or other RE-Factor banners, and are not added to the totals required for RE-Factor rewards.
If you're already pulling on the current Chartered banner, remember the two systems track their guarantees separately — see our headhunting guide and pity tracker to keep both straight.
[Tag Artist Issue] RE-Factor Issue #1 — Artzy Tyrannical weapon banner
The weapon side of RE-Factor is called RE-Factor Issue. The first one, [Tag Artist Issue] RE-Factor Issue #1, features a much higher chance of obtaining the 6★ weapon Artzy Tyrannical (Handcannon). The 6★ weapons that may appear: Artzy Tyrannical (Handcannon) / Wedge (Handcannon) / Rapid Ascent (Sword) / White Night Nova (Sword) / JET (Polearm) / Chivalric Virtues (Arts Unit) / Sundered Prince (Greatsword) — all confirmed as 6★ in our weapons database.
How RE-Factor Issue works:
- Each issue gives 10 random weapons from the available list, including at least one 5★ or better weapon.
- If no 6★ weapons are acquired in 3 consecutive issues, a 6★ weapon is guaranteed on the 4th issue. This guarantee is only valid for the current RE-Factor Issue banner and does not carry over to other issue banners.
- If no rate-up 6★ weapon is acquired in the first 7 issues, the rate-up 6★ weapon is guaranteed on the 8th issue. This triggers once across all same-name issue banners, and progress carries over.
- Milestone bonuses: 10 issues → current banner's Arms Offering Crate ×1; 18 issues → the banner's Rate-UP 6★ Weapon ×1; after that, every 8 issues you alternately receive an Arms Offering Crate or the Rate-UP 6★ Weapon. Accumulated attempts carry over to future same-name issue banners.
- As with other Arsenal Issue rules, acquiring a weapon also grants bonus AIC Quota.
For exact details once live, check the in-game Acquisition Center → Arsenal Exchange screen.
Factory & quality-of-life improvements
The DEV Comm confirms several AIC Factory and QoL changes arriving with the version:
- [Continue Placing]: toggle it on while placing facilities, ornamentals or plots and you can keep placing items from your Backpack without exiting Construction Status.
- Box Selection Optimization: when box-selecting for blueprints in Batch Select Mode, the screen now shows the current selection count and the blueprint save limit in real time, so you can adjust the range without reselecting.
- Story Dialogue [Hide UI]: hides button prompts and dialogue text during story dialogue, and also works in Auto-Play.
- Reception Room Clue Management: a new [Quick Add] button auto-fills all available clues to start Clue Exchange faster, and a [Give Away All Duplicates] option lets you gift extra copies (2+) of identical clues to friends in one click.
- Operator Gifting: you can keep offering gifts to max-Trust operators to complete gifting tasks.
- Engraved Medals: category tabs in Path of Glory's Medal Album auto-switch as you scroll.
- Profile Themes: background display area in the Friends List is expanded.
Combat, progression & visual updates
- New [Progression Overview]: in Operators → Progression Overview you can view all owned, not-owned and upcoming operators and weapons in one place, along with the materials required to build them to various progression goals and the quantities you currently hold. For upcoming operators you can also preview their recommended weapons' perfect-match essences and add them straight to your Essence Wishlist.
- Echoes of War: switch stages directly from the difficulty selection screen, and clearing Echoes of War / Umbral Monument stages no longer triggers a loading screen when returning to stage selection.
- Clear time display: some stage results screens now show your clear time, making it easier to retry and set new records.
- Snowy weather visuals: characters, facilities and ornamentals get richer surface detail with more realistic snow adhesion and accumulation.
Still in development
The DEV Comm also gives an early preview of content for later versions: a new [Gear Plan] feature to bulk-switch gear sets with one click, and an [Auto-Artificer] tab in Gear Artificing that automatically filters and assembles gear for the stat you're artificing, returning unused materials if the process finishes early. Neither is confirmed for the [Dreamscape of Wind and Snow] release.
