Typhoeus (6★) — [Winter Hunt] Chartered Headhunting Banner Guide & September Events
As of September 2, 2026, the new 6★ operator Typhoeus is the rate-up of the [Winter Hunt] Chartered Headhunting banner in Arknights: Endfield — the first Chartered banner of the [Dreamscape of Wind and Snow] version. Unlike most previous Chartered banners, which ran until "the next version update," [Winter Hunt] has an explicit end date: September 30, 2026, 11:59 (server time). This guide collects everything from the official announcement — the 6★ pool and rotation, pull rewards and guarantee structure, the [Fletched Irontip] sign-in event, the [Combat Drills] trial, and the companion [Deep Cold Issue] LTO weapon banner — so you can plan your Oroberyls for the month. For the full version rundown, see our Dreamscape of Wind and Snow version guide.

The official notice for this banner — [Winter Hunt] Chartered Headhunting (Sept. 1, 2026) — is the source for every detail below.
The Chartered 6★ pool: Typhoeus joins, Camille rotates out
The official Chartered Headhunting rule is that a rate-up 6★ operator is removed from the Chartered pool after 3 Chartered Headhunting banners, and is not added to Basic Headhunting. The [Winter Hunt] pool is the first to drop Camille (rate-up in [Expunger of Sin], June 2026) — she has now completed her three-banner run. The rotation across the last five announced banners:
- [Fists of No Regrets] (Mi Fu, June 2026): Mi Fu / Zhuang Fangyi / Rossi / Ember / Lifeng / Ardelia / Last Rite / Pogranichnik
- [Expunger of Sin] (Camille, June–July 2026): Camille / Mi Fu / Zhuang Fangyi / Ember / Lifeng / Ardelia / Last Rite / Pogranichnik
- [North Yearns the Rift Vigile] (Arcane, July–Aug 2026): Arcane / Camille / Mi Fu / Ember / Lifeng / Ardelia / Last Rite / Pogranichnik
- [Good Morning from Your Dawnstar] (Liino, Aug–Sept 2026): Liino / Arcane / Camille / Ember / Lifeng / Ardelia / Last Rite / Pogranichnik
- [Winter Hunt] (Typhoeus, current): Typhoeus / Liino / Arcane / Ember / Lifeng / Ardelia / Last Rite / Pogranichnik
Liino and Arcane — rate-up in the previous two banners — remain in the pool, so [Winter Hunt] is still a chance to pick them up off-rate. The practical takeaway from the rotation rule: Typhoeus will leave the Chartered pool after roughly three banners, and there is no announced path to obtain him outside Chartered Headhunting. If you want him, this month is the reliable window. Our banner schedule tracks each banner's window, and the headhunting tracker helps you keep count of your attempts.
One note on our own data: Typhoeus's full database entry (class, element, stats) is not live in our character database yet — the official announcement confirms only that he is a 6★ operator. We won't speculate on his kit; check the character page in the coming days, and try him out for free in the [Combat Drills] trial described below.
Pull rewards & the guarantee structure
Like every Chartered banner, [Winter Hunt] carries the standard pull-reward structure quoted in the official notice:
- Urgent Recruitment (30 pulls): 10 bonus Urgent Recruitment attempts — effectively one free 10× pull at the banner's base rates, and that free 10× guarantees a 5★ or better operator. It is valid only during this banner, does not carry over, and does not count toward the banner's guarantees or reward totals.
- Headhunting Dossier (60 pulls): 1 Dossier, sent automatically to your Valuables Stash. When the next Chartered banner begins, it converts into Special HH Permit ×10 for that banner — and those permits expire when that banner ends.
- Token Tribute (every 240 pulls): [Token of the Rate-UP 6★ operator] ×1 — in this case, a Token of Typhoeus.
- Arsenal Tickets: every headhunting attempt grants Arsenal Tickets (6★ = 2000, 5★ = 200, 4★ = 20), spendable in the Acquisition Center's Arsenal Exchange.
These are the same thresholds as in previous Chartered banners ([Expunger of Sin], [North Yearns the Rift Vigile]), so if you pulled on those you already know the rhythm. The exact in-banner numbers are always shown on the in-game Headhunting screen. For the full mechanics, see the headhunting guide.
Companion events: [Fletched Irontip] sign-in, Combat Drills & Quota Exchange
Three things open alongside the banner:
- [Fletched Irontip] limited-time sign-in: sign in for a total of 7 days to earn rewards including [Fletched Irontip HH Permit] ×5 — five free pulls toward Typhoeus.
- [Combat Drills] operator trial: try out the 6★ operator Typhoeus with a preset team. Complete the specified stage to claim Oroberyl ×100, an [Arsenal Defense Crate] (containing a Fully Artificed Level 60 Gear Set suited to the trial operator), [Mark of Perseverance], and other rewards.
- [AIC Quota Exchange] special deals: spend AIC Quota to purchase items such as [Fletched Irontip HH Permit] ×5 at a discount.
Between the sign-in, the discounted exchange and the update compensation (Oroberyl ×900 from the version maintenance, per the update notice), September opens with a decent chunk of free pulls before you spend anything.
Companion LTO: [Deep Cold Issue] — Umbra of Frigid Eventide
Alongside the operator banner, the [Deep Cold Issue] LTO weapon banner features the 6★ weapon Umbra of Frigid Eventide (Arts Unit). Per the official [Deep Cold Issue] LTO Details (Sept. 1, 2026):
- Availability: opens after the [Dreamscape of Wind and Snow] version update; ends after 3 Chartered Headhunting banners (counting from [Winter Hunt])
- Participation criteria: complete main mission [Chapter I Process I: Break the Siege]
- 6★ weapons that may appear: Umbra of Frigid Eventide (Arts Unit) / Exemplar (Greatsword) / Clannibal (Handcannon) / Valiant (Polearm) / Oblivion (Arts Unit) / Detonation Unit (Arts Unit) / Rapid Ascent (Sword)
The Arsenal Issue mechanics are unchanged from previous LTOs: each issue gives 10 random weapons including at least one 5★ or better, and performing a set number of issues rewards the banner's specific [Arms Offering Crate] or the rate-up 6★ weapon in alternating order (totals reset when the banner ends). [Arsenal Tickets] can also be used directly in the Arsenal Exchange to purchase weapons, with the selection updated from time to time. For a full breakdown of how LTO weapon banners work, see our LTO weapon banners explainer. Note that Umbra of Frigid Eventide isn't in our weapon database yet either — we'll add it as soon as the data is available.
What else to know before you pull
Two more things are worth flagging for September planning:
- RE-Factor banners overlap this window. The official DEV Comm (Aug. 22, 2026) confirms the new RE-Factor Headhunting type debuts on Sept. 24, 2026 with [Resplendent Spectrum] RE-Factor Headhunting #1 (6★ Yvonne rate-up, using Chartered HH Permit or Oroberyls). That means [Winter Hunt] and the first RE-Factor banner run simultaneously from Sept. 24 to Sept. 30 — decide in advance how you split your permits and Oroberyls between the two. The guarantees are separate systems, and RE-Factor progress carries across same-name RE-Factor banners. Details are in our Dreamscape of Wind and Snow guide.
- Discord widget Typhoeus theme. The official Game Stats Widget update (Sept. 1, 2026) adds a Typhoeus theme for the Discord widget. Linking your Discord account for the first time grants Oroberyl ×100 and an exclusive role in the official server — a free pull's worth of currency if you haven't linked yet.
Finally, a reminder on the 6★ rotation: once [Winter Hunt] ends, Typhoeus (like Liino after her run) will drop out of the Chartered pool after three banners and won't appear in Basic Headhunting. If you're on the fence, use the pity tracker to see where you stand and the banner schedule to see what's coming before you commit. Frequently asked questions
[Winter Hunt] runs from the [Dreamscape of Wind and Snow] version release until Sept. 30, 2026, 11:59 (server time) — an explicit end date, unlike previous Chartered banners that ended at the next version update.
Per the official Chartered Headhunting rule, a rate-up 6★ leaves the Chartered pool after 3 Chartered banners and is not added to Basic Headhunting. This banner is the reliable window to obtain him.
Sign in for 7 days total during the [Fletched Irontip] sign-in event for ×5, and exchange up to ×5 more at a discount in the AIC Quota Exchange during the banner period.
[Resplendent Spectrum] RE-Factor Headhunting #1 (Yvonne) opens Sept. 24 and overlaps [Winter Hunt] until Sept. 30. The two systems have separate guarantees, so plan your permits and Oroberyls across both windows — and note Typhoeus's full kit data isn't published yet, so trial him in Combat Drills first if you're unsure.
