Endfield's seasonal challenge stages are the part of the endgame that keeps quietly growing: eight encounters, three difficulty tiers each, and a new season every few weeks that stacks more stages on top. Most people arrive here looking for one of them by name — "Old Tales of the Wild", "Howling of Undying Beasts", "Brief History of War" — and want two things: what level it expects, and what the clear is actually worth. This page answers that for all 24 entries, using the stage records in the EndfieldDex database.
What the "Season Tower" stages are
Our stage table groups 24 entries under the category Season Tower. That is eight distinct encounters, each with a Normal (Lv 60), Hard (Lv 75) and Brutal (Lv 90) version. None of them list a Stamina cost, and none point at a farm domain — these are challenge clears, not resource runs.
The permanent seasonal mode in the official notes is [Echoes of War]. The [Homecoming] version notes (July 16, 2026) describe it as "a seasonal game mode that is permanently available. Challenge various stages, earn stars, and achieve various season titles," updated with new stages from time to time. The later notes and the August DEV comm both reference its stage-selection and difficulty-selection screens, which is the same shape our data records: one encounter, three pickable difficulties, a rotating season. We list these stages by the category name carried in the game files rather than guessing at an in-game menu label, and every one is linked below.
One naming collision worth knowing about: [Echoes of War] is also the name of a Wuling Exploration Mission added in Homecoming, listed alongside [Blightshade Watch] and [Treasures of the Past]. If you are looking for the story mission rather than the challenge stages, that is a different thing.
Difficulty tiers at a glance
| Tier | Recommended level | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | Lv 60 | The entry tier. First clear is where the Oroberyl payout sits. |
| Hard | Lv 75 | Comfortably above the level the story asks for at the same point in the version. |
| Brutal | Lv 90 | The top end of anything the game currently asks for, and the tier most searches are about. |
Our records list no Stamina cost on any of the 24 stages, so retries do not compete with your resource farming. The recommended level is the only gate the data shows.
The eight encounters
Each entry below is one encounter. The three links after the quote are its Normal, Hard and Brutal stage pages, where the raw record (ID, category, recommended level, flavour text) lives.
Silver Watercutter — "I saw a sliver of light and the flashing blade streaking through the flowing currents, yet it failed to sever its cold, heartless malice. Its grip left its taint upon your sword, and the lingering echo shrouded your form."
Normal · Hard · Brutal
Old Tales of the Wild — "Here I commit to words of beasts roaming the ruins of war, clawing and tearing at the names of nations as their rabid froth reduces staves, shields, and cannon shells into molten ferrium."
Normal · Hard · Brutal
Skirmishers' Æthillu — "I see a crossbow bolt screech across the heavens. The skirmishers trod along the very brink of reality, their features blending into the cold forms of the Æthillu."
Normal · Hard · Brutal
Age of Axes — "As I ran my fingers halfway across the carvings, the scorching rust sent jolts of pain that shot through the executioner's skin. The weapons were stained by their flesh and blood. The cycle was endless and restless, and came every year."
Normal · Hard · Brutal
Pulverizing Ammunition — "I picked up bits of ferrium, fragments of thoughts and ideas once covered in etchings. The most steadfast commitment was the bullet, and it smashed itself to pieces against Aggeloid rock."
Normal · Hard · Brutal
Scars of Landbreaking — "I learned of a story that started with a warlord's wild ambitions. It led to packs of wolves devouring each other and churned the great sea of sand, till the sound of blood gushing from the broken gashes echoed in our ears."
Normal · Hard · Brutal
Howling of Undying Beasts — "I heard the sound of your blade scraping the bleached bones of beasts, the hissing song of honing was almost like a thunderous peal."
Normal · Hard · Brutal
Brief History of War — "I found a few lines of truth. It began with beasts of fury and ended with people killing each other. The bloody conflicts never ended."
Normal · Hard · Brutal
One honest gap: the data dump this site publishes from does not include per-stage enemy lineups or drop tables, so we cannot tell you which waves spawn in which stage. What is recorded is the recommended level, the category and the flavour text. For enemy stat blocks, use the enemy database.
What a clear is worth
The official reward rules for the mode are short and specific, from the Homecoming notes:
- Clearing a stage on Normal difficulty for the first time pays [Oroberyls].
- Clearing on higher difficulties also grants rewards such as [Mark of Perseverance] and [Advanced Cognitive Carrier].
- Each season pays [Oroberyl] × 300 for clearing all of that season's newly added stages on Normal.
The [Dreamscape of Wind and Snow] notes also added a prompt for already claimed [Honor] rewards on the mode's stage selection screen, which is a useful tell when you are deciding whether a stage is still worth a run.
Season calendar: what ran, what is live now
| Season | Window (server time) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Season of Recalling | Homecoming update → Aug 9, 2026, 11:59 | 6 stages across 3 cycles; all-stage Normal clear paid Oroberyl × 600. |
| Season of Delirating | Aug 9, 2026, 12:00 → Homecoming maintenance | 2 new stages across 3 cycles; new-stage Normal clear paid Oroberyl × 200. |
| Season of Virtuality | Sept 2, 2026 → Sept 24, 2026, 11:59 | 3 cycles × 3 stages; 3 new stages added; clearing all new stages on Normal pays Oroberyl × 300. |
| Season of Illusion | Sept 24, 2026, 12:00 → next maintenance | Same structure, 3 new stages, same Oroberyl × 300 for the new-stage Normal clear. |
As of this writing (Sept 17, 2026), Season of Virtuality is the live season and it ends in about a week. If you still have new-stage Normal clears sitting unfinished, the Sept 24 rollover is the deadline for that 300 Oroberyl — and the moment Season of Illusion's stages appear. The rollover coincides with the [Resplendent Spectrum] RE-Factor banner and the [Purry Big Feline! RAWR!] giveaway, so if you are planning your week, our version event schedule lines every date up in one place.
Each season so far has added stages rather than retiring them, so the eight encounters in our data read as an accumulated set rather than one season's lineup. Expect the count to keep climbing.
Quality-of-life changes that affect these stages
- Direct stage switching. After entering the difficulty selection screen, you can switch to another stage without backing out to the stage selection screen first.
- No loading screen on return. Clearing a stage (in this mode or in [Umbral Monument]) and returning to stage selection no longer triggers a loading screen.
- Clear times are shown. Some stage results screens now display your clear time, which makes retries and personal records easier to track.
Frequently asked
Twenty-four records in our database: eight encounters × Normal, Hard and Brutal. The stages page filtered to Season Tower lists them all with a level next to each.
None of the 24 records list a Stamina cost (0), unlike Resource stages. The recommended level is the only requirement the data shows.
Normal asks for Lv 60, Hard for Lv 75, Brutal for Lv 90 by the recommendation in the data. If your roster is sitting at story level, that maps to Normal first, then Hard as gear catches up.
No. The official notes treat them as two separate challenge systems, both referenced when the notes discuss difficulty selection and stage selection. [Umbral Monument] runs in series of 4 stages with its own limited-time etching events; the seasonal tower stages above are the seasonal set.
