Arknights: Endfield gives every operator exactly one weapon type, and the game's own announcements use different words for those types than our database does. This page lines the two naming sets up, lists every weapon in our files, and explains how the six-star ones end up in your arsenal.

The five weapon types

Our database holds 72 weapons across five types. Each operator is tied to one of them, and the weapon they start with is the three-star of that type.

SwordSword1910Tarr 11
WandArts Unit168Jiminy 12
ClaymoresGreatsword147Darhoff 7
PistolHandcannon126Peco 5
LancePolearm115Opero 77

The "official name" column is derived, not copied: we matched weapon names that appear in both our database and the official announcements (26 names, no conflicts). The game files use Claymores/Wand, official posts say Greatsword/Arts Unit. Same weapons, two vocabularies. Our own weapons-by-type page uses the file names.

Every operator and their weapon type

All 31 operator records in our database carry a weapon type. Swords are the crowded category with 10, Lances and Pistols the thinnest with 4 each.

Endministrator appears three times because our database keeps three separate records for the character. The counts above follow the roster as the game files store it.

Rarity: 36 six-stars out of 72

  • 6★ — 36 weapons, the ones Arsenal Issues rotate
  • 5★ — 21 weapons
  • 4★ — 10 weapons
  • 3★ — 5 weapons, one per type: Tarr 11 (Sword), Jiminy 12 (Wand), Darhoff 7 (Claymores), Peco 5 (Pistol), Opero 77 (Lance)

Every operator's default weapon in our files points at one of those five three-stars, which is the cleanest confirmation that the type split is real rather than a display quirk.

Every six-star weapon

21 of the 36 six-star weapons have appeared in at least one Arsenal Issue pool. The other 15 have never shown up in a pool list, across the 13 announcements we hold.

"Added in" only fills where an official update note lists the weapon as new; our archive of version notes starts with the 1.1 notes in March 2026, so older weapons show a dash. The issue column counts the 13 Arsenal/LTO announcements published between January 21 and September 1, 2026.

How weapons reach your account

Weapon acquisition runs on a separate track from operator headhunting. The mode the game now labels [X Issue] Arsenal Issue is the same thing earlier announcements called a Limited-Time Offer, and its rules have stayed identical across every announcement we have:

  • Each issue features one rate-up 6★ weapon, and the announcement lists the full seven-name pool of six-stars the issue can produce. The rate-up weapon is one of those seven.
  • It opens after a version update and closes after three Chartered Headhunting banners have run. You need Chapter I Process I: Break the Siege cleared to take part.
  • Arsenal Tickets buy an issue. Each issue hands you 10 random weapons, with at least one 5★ or better guaranteed.
  • Performing a set number of issues pays out that banner's Arms Offering Crate or its rate-up 6★ weapon, alternating. Those counters reset when the banner ends and do not carry over.
  • Arsenal Exchange lets you spend tickets to buy weapons outright instead of rolling; the stock on offer changes over time.
  • Issue records keep 90 days of Arsenal Issue reward history, a rule the 1.4 update notes introduced.

The operator side of that economy (Dossier rules, permit types) is covered in the LTO banner guide, and the headhunting guide walks through the pull rules.

Which update added which weapons

Official update notes list new weapons under a dedicated heading. Here is every one since the 1.1 notes, with the type tag the post used:

The five six-stars added with 1.4 Homecoming include the two most-searched names of that batch, Golden Age and Type 42: Solemn Phalanx. Golden Age is a Polearm and Type 42 an Arts Unit, worth knowing before you spend tickets on the wrong issue.

What our data does not cover

  • No damage numbers. Our weapon files carry name, rarity, type, icon and lore. There are no ATK values or scaling curves, so this page lists no stats. The six-star pages under the weapon database show what we have.
  • Skill names are unresolved. Each weapon points at skill ids such as 1241 or 2225, and we have not mapped those ids to readable names yet.
  • Five recent six-stars are only half-indexed. Blessing of Lustrous Carmine, Type 42: Solemn Phalanx, Farsight, Junction Point and Golden Age exist in our item index but not yet in the weapon table, so their pages still show the generic item description with no lore.
  • Four newer weapons are missing entirely. Bedazzling Night Debut, Umbra of Frigid Eventide, Suffering's End and Dessert Moment are named in the official notes but absent from our files.
  • One record has no name. A six-star lance still carries a placeholder name in our files. It shows up above as (unnamed record), and it has never appeared in an issue pool.

Frequently asked

Can I put any weapon on any operator?
No. Every operator in our data is assigned a single weapon type, and weapons are locked to theirs. Swords go to Sword operators, Arts Units to Wand ones.
Does the seven-weapon pool change between issues?
Yes. Each announcement lists its own seven. Some weapons recur often (Wedge appears in 8 of the 13 issues we have), while others have been rate-up only once.
Where did Golden Age and Type 42: Solemn Phalanx come from?
Both were added in 1.4 Homecoming (July 16, 2026), along with Bedazzling Night Debut, Farsight and Junction Point. Type 42 was the rate-up for Military Grade Issue; Golden Age has not appeared as a rate-up in any announcement we have.
